Third Graders and the Greek Columns
Third grade students studied the three types of Greek columns (Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian) in depth. They used nonverbal skills to analyze diagrams of each column and completed a 3-circle Venn-Diagram. Next students researched buildings/structures with each type of column and wrote informational descriptions of each one.
