What's The Matter in the Kitchen?

 
We are starting a new unit in TAG for Kindergarten and 1st grade students called What's the Matter in the Kitchen? Why is science important in the kitchen? What does science have to do with cooking? What does science have to do with digestion? These are questions we are going to answer in our unit. Students will investigate the properties of matter and how changes occur in objects. Students will identify sources of energy and how the energy is used. In addition, students will work on Advanced Communication Skills as well as Advanced Research Skills.
