Researching Ice and Snow
After second graders used creative problem-solving to save Frosty the Snowman, they learned about "Snowflake" Wilson Bentley, the first scientist to photograph and study snow crystals. Then they conducted research to extend their learning.
Students were given the choice of product between making a poster and creating a PowerPoint to present their research.
